4WD in Australia

As I said before, 4WDing in Autralia was fun.

The great people who took us for the day asked what we preferred. I had hoped to go to Fraser Island (but it was too far from Brisbane for a one day trip), or to Moreton Island (but it was high tide), so we went to the Black Duck Valley 4WD & Motorbike Park, which turned out t obe an excellent choice. I think I've located it on Google Maps.

It was a dry, rocky area, with real mountains... More real than the artificial hills you find around here on 4WD tracks.

We had a real Australian outdoor barbecue, using a very simple barbecue set on top of an ordinary gas bottle. 'Australian burgers' with red beet and an omelet... Only one annoyance: hundreds of flies...

It's an amazing place, far

It's an amazing place, far away from the rest of the world, I couldn't think of a better place to have a relaxing day. I wish I was there too and spend a whole day thinking about nothing. I've been to Australia once and stayed at Anaheim hotels, it was a really nice experience.
