Seminarie Intelligente Formulieren
Last week I gave two sessions at a Seminar About Intelligent Forms (Intelligente Formulieren) organised by I.T. Works. More than 60 people showed up to learn more about intelligent forms and intelligent documents.
I gave two independent talks. The first about Open Standards in the Intelligent Forms area. More specifically I spoke about XForms and XSL-FO. Afterwards I gave an overview of Scriptura.
Although I was a little bit nervous before I started (I’m always a bit nervous if I have to speak to a larger number of people, there were more than 60 attendees), everything went very well, and I have the impression many people enjoyed my talks and the seminar as much as I did!
People talked about their requirements as well, which assured me that the new features we are planning for Scriptura will address even more problems that businesses face these days.
On a side note: I learned about the guidelines the Flemish Government has for document and forms design. A very good initiative that can be inspiring for non-government organizations and businesses as well.
